We will collect you in style in a luxury Paddywagon Coach. Your tour begins with a scenic drive up through the Glens of Antrim to the North Coast of Ireland. We collect passengers from the cruise ship at 07:30 for departure @ 08:00. Where your ship docks later than 07:30 the tour will begin 30 minutes after disembarkation commences.
Stop At: Giant's Causeway, Bushmills, County Antrim, Northern Ireland
We allow ample time at the Giant's Causeway to make your way down to visit this famous World Heritage Site. It is a 20 minute walk from the Drop Off point to the amazing Causeway site, but there is a shuttle bus that operates for a small charge, ideal for those not comfortable walking up and down the steep gradient (hill) to the Causeway. The hexagonal basalt rocks really look like they were man made and this leads the people in Ireland to believe they were carved by Ireland's most famous Giant Warrior: the great Finn MacCoole. There is also a suggestion they may have been formed by Volcanic activity 60 million years ago. There is a charge of 8 payable at the site to visit the new Causeway visitor Center which has shops, a multimedia show and restaurants.

John was a fantastic tour guide. Pickup at the cruise port was on time and easy. The Giants Causeway was an amazing sight. We toured downtown Belfast after lunch in a lovely small town. John gave lots of informative narration on the coach. He also entertained us with his Irish songs and jokes. I definitely recommend this tour.

Really enjoyed the beautiful Bushmills coast and Giants Causeway. Wifi on the bus was nice! Didn't know what to do with the time in Belfast...should have read up in advance. City Hall has great exhibit and tour which you should sign up for online.

I thought it was a great tour for the money. it was a great way to see the N. Ireland countryside. The Giants Causeway was a very unique geologic place with lots of cool stuff in between -. good value.

Fantastic sights along the coast and the Giants Causeway did not disappoint. Tour guide and Driver were excellent.

Relaxing and well organised tour to have time to explore the Giants Causeway and have time for lunch in Belfast. Our tour guide/driver Lee was very informative and gave a good overview of the past troubles in Belfast.

  • William M

Our driver was 30 minutes late arriving to pick us up. He was coming from Dublin and ran into traffic. (If you're coming from that far away, you need to allow an extra 1/2 hour for traffic). When we arrived at the causeway, he gave us inaccurate information for entering. Wasted another 15 minutes. The area was beautiful and the self guided tour was good.We were supposed to have a Belfast city your as well, but he basically drove to City Hall and wanted to drop folks off to get a Black Taxi ride .(Which he kept pushing during the drive to Causeway. He basically was going to drop us off for tour. Most of us just asked to be taken back to the ship. Driver is not uphold the reputation of Paddywagon Tours.

This was just an outstanding tour. Our driver Brian was really knowledgeable and entertaining. His knowledge of Belfast was excellent and we had a better than average experience. He allowed us time at the Causeway and then some beautiful sights of the countryside which is absolutely beautiful. We also had an excellent tour of Belfast along with a good historical perspective of Northern Ireland's place within the United Kingdom and what is going on today. It was better than average day for sure.

Brian, our coach driver and tour guide made this tour the best of all our tours. He took us to all the usual sights and then some. He gave us the history of the geography and some much more. Kud0s to Brian

These tours follow the same program as the ship. However, please note that the ships excursions often include the cost of food and entrance fees, and Viator's do not.

Be careful on this trip as one of the pasengers slipped on the Giant Causeway and fractured her ankle. That being said this tour is amazing an well worth it.
