Details about this tour

Leave central Belfast in the morning and head to the first stop is Carrickfergus castle -- a striking Norman castle thats said to be one of the best preserved in Northern Ireland. Enjoy a photo stop here, and hear from your guide how it was built in the 12th century to guard the approach to Belfast Lough.
Head northeast along the Antrim Coast by luxury coach. To the famous Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, an exhilarating crossing that connects the mainland to Carrick-a-Rede Island. Feeling brave? Take a walk across it (own expense) and try hard not to look down at the 100-foot (30-meter) drop! If you prefer to keep your feet firmly on dry land, your guide will point you in the right direction for a bracing walk along the magnificent headland.
We have lunch in the lovely village of Ballintoy in a local pub offering home made traditional food.
Hop back on board your bus and continue to the Old bushmills distillery, where the famous Bushmills Irish whiskey is produced. Browse tempting wares in the gift shop and then head off to see the incredible Giants Causeway!
As Northern Irelands first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Giants Causeway is sure to impress! The fascinating natural wonder consists of hexagonal rock columns that somehow fit together like a baffling puzzle. Climb the ancient stones that line the coastline, and hear the myths surrounding their appearance from a professional National Trust guide. A popular tale is that the rocks were created as giant stepping stones for the fabled Irish giant Finn Mac Cool, so that he could cross the sea to Scotland.
After enjoying Giants Causeway, board your coach and travel south, stopping to admire the ancient ruins of Dunluce Castle, a once-important medieval stronghold. After a short walk around, return to central Belfast where your tour ends.

The sceneries were amazing! Our guide cum driver did an excellent job in telling us stories and driving at the same time! The coastal drive along the way to the Giant's Causeway was also another highlight. It'll be even better if the air conditioning works and there're USB ports for us to charge our phones in the bus. Other than that, the trip was perfect!

We enjoyed this day tour very much. The rock formation at Giant Causeway are amazing. Going to and walking over the suspension bridge was an great experience. The views from the other side of the suspension bridge were amazing.

Troy was fantastic from the start. Funny, personable and charming. Troy narrated all along the way with fun facts about the "Game of Thrones" locations along our ride and country history as well. He tried to reach out to all the guests on his bus and be as personal as possible. It was very enjoyable. We bought tickets from Troy on the bus for the Giant's Causeway gift shop and the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. The rope bridge was great fun. It was a beautiful coastal view. Loved the Giant's Causeway feature. So unique and fun. Honestly the visitors center wasn't that interesting, but the tickets were sold as a packaged deal. I would do it again just for the bridge experience.

Lunch was handled very well to speed up the process we ordered on the bus and Troy places our orders and it was all ready when we got to the restaurant. The food was good. A fun feature at the restaurant was a little "Game of Thrones" set up in an adjacent room where you could put on an actual costume from the show and sit on a throne and get your picture taken.

Overall enjoyed the day, the rope bridge I fell was over hyped but the causeway was worth every minute and every penny of the trip. Would recommend it

We had a fun filled day with our tour guide Troy! He kept us laughing and would inform us of historical locations and Game of Thrones sites along the way. Many stops and plenty of opportunities to take pics and make memories. The bus was very comfortable as well. My husband and I have no complaints. Be prepared to walk a lot! Wear comfy walking shoes and layers of clothing that can be removed or put back on just in case.

We were thrilled with this experience. Our driver/guide was very informative and fun. Although we experienced a bit of rain at the Causeway, it was well worth the trip. The Causeway itself is breathtaking. We did purchase the additional tickets (from our driver) to do the rope bridge and enter the Causeway Center. I would strongly recommend these. It is a bit of a walk to the rope bridge, so be aware of your own physical condition. I think the description of this trip mentions water proof clothing and good walking shoes. This is 100% correct.

Also on this trip we stopped briefly at Bushmills Distillery and had lunch at a great pub. I can't say enough about this trip. Highly recommend!

This was a very long trip. Roads were bumpy. People were motion sick. It's a cold, windy and rainy beach with giant rocks and logs to climb on. Nothing worth wasting a day to see

Would have liked more time in the Causeway Information Centre only had about 10mins if that which we paid extra for instead of the brewery. Phil the driver very nice and entertaining!
