Itinerary

Day 1: Brussels Half-Day City Tour (morning) Walk with your guide to Brussels’ beautiful Grand Place, where you’ll see Market Square. Then board a luxury coach and drive past the magnificent St Michael’s Cathedral, built in 1047, and continue to the National Basilica of Koekelberg, inspired by Paris’ Sacred-Heart Basilica.
Next, see the world-famous Atomium, the Chinese Pavilion and the Japanese Tower, famous for their 17th- and 18th-century collections of ceramics. Pass the Royal Residence of Laeken and St Mary’s Church before exploring the Sablon district with its countless antique shops. See the impressive Court of Justice and the Royal Palace, and then visit Jubilee Park, home to the Triumphal Arch and some excellent examples of Art Nouveau homes. Pass the Royal Park and the Belgian Parliament on your way back to the city center where your tour ends.
Antwerp Half-Day Trip (afternoon)After a 1-hour break to have lunch (own expense), journey to Belgium’s second-largest city, Antwerp, with your guide. Home to Europe’s second-largest harbor, Antwerp is often called the City of Rubens after the 17th-century painter who used to live here. Enjoy the city’s well-preserved historical character as you see its top sights. At the city’s ancient fortress, start your walking tour to Market Square and visit the Cathedral of Our Lady, home to four Rubens masterpieces, including The Raising of the Cross.
After some time at leisure in the city center, you'll board the coach and take a drive to Antwerp's famous harbor, the largest in Europe! Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from the 9th floor of the MAS Museum (closed on Mondays) and see diamonds sparkle at the Diamond pavilion of the MAS. Learn why Antwerp is called the world center for diamonds, before returning to Brussels.
Day 2: Ghent and Bruges Day Trip (full day)Leaving Brussels behind you, spend a fully guided day in two of Flanders’ wonderful towns – Ghent and Bruges. After a one-hour drive through the scenic Belgium countryside, arrive in Ghent, where you will visit St Bavo Cathedral, home of the world-famous painting, Adoration of the Mystic Lamb (optional; closed on Sundays). Then take a walking tour to see some of Ghent’s important medieval buildings, such as the Belfry, St Nicolas Church and the Castle of the Counts of Flanders.
Then depart Ghent and enjoy the drive through the Flemish countryside toward Bruges. During the drive you will listen to an audio history of Bruges and the Flanders region on headphones. Upon arrival in Bruges, visit the Lake of Love (Minnewater) and the Beguinage (a convent), and then enjoy free time to have lunch (not included) before you begin a walking tour. During the walking tour, see Our Lady Church with a statue by Michelangelo; Market Square with the Belfry; and Town Hall Square (Burg) with the Chapel of the Holy Blood. You also have the option to take a boat cruise through Bruges’ famous canals before returning to Brussels.

This trip was so rushed I don't even remember what I've seen. We couldn't hear what the guide said because of the winds.

Brussels and Antwerp half day trip still acceptable. But, the day trip to ghent and bruges were not satisfied. Because the tour guide was not able to speak in fluent English. Some more is bilingual, it's waste our time. We have mentioned to have English speaking tour guide, but, cannot have it. Because the tourists are mixed. Very unsatisfied and disappointed where both places are very nice places. Especially bruges. Because of language problem we cannot understand the history and the meaning of each building in the town. Second things is too long for walking as children cannot walk too long. They are feeling tired.

Enjoyable itinerary, very qualified guides. Bit of difficulty with pace and terrain for seniors, however guides were respectful.

Saturday's trip to Antwerp went well. Sunday did not go as wel. The stop at Ghent was too long. It could have been shortened by one hour. Brugge is a beautiful city but we lost our tour guide and had paid for a boat ride at 1700. The tour guide gave us his phone number, so we sent a text asking for a meeting point atn 1600. No answer! Tried to call him at 1700 and 1715, both times no answer. We gave up and returned to the buss meeting point. So we had no guided tour by him nor a buss ride, which I paid 16 Euro for. I got no excuse nor explanation from the tour guide.

The tour to Ghent and Bruges was fantastic. Jan (male) out guide was very good. The brussels sightseeing was also good but we couldn't get off at the parque cinquaintare due to prior activities that didn't allow tours. The Antwerp tour was good but our guide was not enthusiastic and seemed more into getting a cigarette break.other than that the tours were in time and good.

I've always wanted to explore Belgium a little more after a short weekend visit years back. This tour covered 3 cities where we were provided leisurely time and a quick tour in Brussels which I wish we had more time in. I would say my favorite would be Bruges as its romantic canals, architecture, and cute eateries were all picture worthy! Oh and if you have time, grab some fruit flavored truffles. So delicious!

Oh! Horrid experience with Brussels city tours to say the least.! We were a group of 3 told to come at 9 am. Tried calling them at 8.48 to inform we are on the way could be delayed by a few minutes, but met with no response. We reached at 0903 and the office was locked, understand from Valerie she left at 0856 am. to board the other passengers. Why did she leave earlier than the scheduled 9 am is a question which had no answer. She didnt keep up her timings but left us high and dry because we were late by 3 minutes joke! All calls were unanswered as the lady on duty Valerie had left at 0856 am to board the other passengers. At the outset she refused to believe we tried calling but once the proof was provided shied away saying i was busy as am alone here. That's no justification from a customers perspective.

We said if you were in the office at least at 0903 am we could have possibly made it. Had she responded to the call we would have made it. We were desperate and could do nothing about it. Finally Valerie arrived at 0920 after boarding the passengers and we explained to her our position and to request the bus to come and pick us up. She flatly refused and we again pleaded to allow us to go by cab at our expense and catch up but again flatly refused. Have never encountered such a hostile, rude lady who refused to listen to us. In fact she asked us to leave the office if we continued with our reasoning. We explained we had checked out of the hotel and the weather was very cold for us to spend a day outside as our departure back to Amsterdam was slated at 2100 hours that day. After much cajoling by my son, despite her rudeness she asked us to meet them in Gent at noon which we did, but left us tired getting there and the whole tour was a disaster. I hope this agency is best avoided and Valerie be suitably admonished for her unhelpful attitude and rude behaviour as she is a liability to the service industry. Left me wondering who was the client and who was the service provider?

This two day tour was a good overview of the 4 largest cities in Belgium - Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp, and Bruges. I now know which cities I'd like to spend extra time in when visiting in the future. Both guides were knowledgable about the history of the city and it's attractions. My main criticism was their lack of enthusiasm and engagement. I felt like they were reciting the information from a script.
