Details about this tour
Our tour begins with a drive to the Mount of Olives, which offers stunning views of the Holy City. We continue on to Mount Zion, the site of King Davids Tomb, the Hall of the Last Supper, and the Church of Dormition. Upon arrival in the city itself, we explore some of Jerusalems most famous sites. We walk along the Cardo, a restored road that dates back to Roman times. We visit the world-renowned Wailing Wall (Kotel), one of the citys most sacred sites. We follow in Christs footsteps along the Via Dolorosa, the route he took on his way to being crucified, culminating at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where the crucifixion itself is said to have taken place. Leaving Jerusalem behind, we journey through the Judean Desert en route to the Dead Sea. The lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea is known for its therapeutic powers. We visit one of the health resorts located on its shore, bathing in mineral-rich mud, before floating upon the salt-laden waters of the sea itself. Feeling rejuvenated, we driveback to Jerusalem.
