Jerusalem Walking Tour: In the Footsteps of Jesus (Full-Day Tour)Start with a pickup from your centrally located Jerusalem hotel and travel in an air-conditioned coach to the Mount of Olives. Absorb the magnificent city views from here and visit sites mentioned in Biblical stories. Beneath the mountain, visit the Roman Catholic Church of all nations (Basilica of the Agony) near the Garden of Gethsemane. Admire its mosaics depicting Christ, and see the stone shrine enclosed here, where Jesus is believed to have prayed before his arrest.
Pass through the Jewish cemetery in Kidron Valley, and enter the Old city via Lions Gate. After a lunch break (own expense), rejoin your guide and take photos of the Pool of Bethesda, mentioned in the Gospel of St John. Next, visit the Crusader St Anne Church, the believed birthplace of the Virgin Mary's mother. First of all we highly recommend that Viator provide a clear warning that if this tour falls on a Jewish/Muslim holiday that there will be no guarantee that the tour will be completed. You could alway find out what will be the holidays for the year in Jerusalem so that you could make adjustments if needed.
Unfortunately, our Footsteps of Jesus Walking tour second day fell on the start of Ramadan and since there was a declared day of rage because of the trouble in the Gaza Strip the schedule activities were altered. We gave the tour guide Lorne 5 stars for his efforts despite the changes and a big plus since he was an English speaking local.
The Jerusalem and Dead Sea Day Tour first day was a good one despite having to go to a pickup point and then driven to the consolidation area for the specific tour. There seems to be a tendency to rush this tour because of time spent on pickup/consolidation. I do not recommend this 2-day tour with the other Jerusalem and Bethlehem Tour from Jerusalem since there is duplication despite the 10 savings. We definitely know what tours is/are best for us the next time we visit. The extra star was given since we were provided a taxi when it was time to go back to our pickup point since the bus we got in included several points including tourist from Tel Aviv.

Isaac and Ami are fantastic tour guides. great package, both tours work very well with each other.
