Make a stop at Watkins Glen National Park, then continue on to iconic Niagara Falls for a late afternoon arrival. Day 2: Niagara Falls, Canada – New York City (breakfast included)
After breakfast at the hotel, it’s time for a Maid of the Mist boat cruise. This is the ultimate Niagara Falls activity and no trip to the falls is complete without it. Grab an included poncho and get up close and personal with the falls. Feel the cool spray and the powerful sounds of the water. This is the experience of a lifetime for those taking the tour between mid-May and October.
Outside of those dates, take an equally exciting “Journey Behind the Falls” to explore the scenic tunnels below and behind the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Make no mistake — this is as close to the falls as anyone wants to be. The sound is like thunder and the view is breathtaking. Stand back, or in this case stand just close enough to feel the power. It’s exhilarating.
After Niagara Falls, continue on the road back to New York City, making a stop to shop at the Crossings Premium Outlets, one of the largest outlet malls in the US with 100 name-brand stores.
Finally, arrive back at Gray Line New York in the evening.

We only had a week in New York so I was concerned with losing 2 days on this trip spending most of the time on the bus, but the bus trip was great, they way they planned the breaks it didn't feel like we spent all day on a bus and the drive is very picturesque, on the way there we stopped at Watkins Glen and did a beautiful walk to see waterfalls etc (wear shoes!! I wasn't aware we were doing this so I had thongs on so it was a bit of a rough walk), really enjoyed this and it was a great break and stretch of the legs
both days we stopped for lunch at these amazing supermarkets which had a fantastic fresh food buffet type meal area, the food was great and had absolutely everything to cater for anybody
once we got to Niagara it was a bit of a muck around and a long process, we had to drop people off on the American side and then had a long delay getting over the boarder and then a bit of a muck around allocating room keys at the hotel, so from the time we saw our first look at the falls to the time we got into our room it was a 3 hour process and it was late, so that was the only negative experience
we got to get some dinner around 8pm and then have a look around Niagara which is a very unique place and fantastic to get a good look around
up at 5am for an early breaky and then back over the boarder to do the Maid of the Mist boat tour which was absolutely amazing - loved every minute and that half hour made the whole 2 day trip worth while
the drive back was once again picturesque and pleasant, the afternoon break was at a factory outlet shopping centre where we got 1.5 hours free time to shop and we did that, could of spent a lot more time there but would of just done more damage to the credit card so was probably a good thing :)
got back to NYC around 8pm
Im glad we did it and in hindsight it was a lovely break from the hussle and bussle of NYC
our guide Jonathan was very attentive to everyone's needs

Around 15/16 hours of journey round trip. If you are staying on Canada side please carry Canadian dollars. Some time hotel is around 3/4 miles away from Niagara falls so you can't see lighting in the night.

Amazing sight to see, should definitely be on everyone's bucket list.😀😀😀😀 The tour guide and bus driver were fantastic and great fun.
The only reason it didn't get the full 5/5 was the overnight accommodation. Hotel staff and breakfast were great but the room was a major meltdown it felt unclean, sheets on bed looked slept in and crumpled. Thankfully it was just one night 😕😕🙁

A thoroughly enjoyable two days to visit Niagara Falls. It is so hyped that I went prepared to be underwhelmed and frankly the two cities of Niagara Falls are eminently missable but the falls themselves are everything you expect. Our guide, Peter, was knowledgeable and did a wonderful job of keeping a diverse group together. The hotel on the Canada side was comfortable but tired. The walk through the falls area at Watkins Glen was a highlight.

Brilliant thing to do. Outstanding so organize and highly recommend this tour. Well worth the money for sure. Beautiful big coach. The tour guy was the best. So brilliant at what he did.

We were visiting New York and decided to take the two day trip to Niagara Falls not really knowing what to expect.

The Bus trip was fine and we saw a lot of countryside outside New York city itself on the journey.

The trip upto Niagara Falls takes most of the day but the falls were awesome when you get there. Accommodation was at the Travel Lodge on the Canadian side, the rooms were Clean, Tidy and Functional but very tired. The supplied breakfast probably rates at 4/10 at best (worst part of the trip)

Following breakfast we stop and have another hour viewing the falls and going down to the tunnels under the falls. Then back on the bus for the journey home (different route)

On the way back to N.Y we stop at an Outlet mall with about 50 stores (?) selling really cheap clothing. Didn't think my wife an I would buy anything but we did as the prices were really good.

The Guide on the bus was knowledgeable as spoke many languages which was defintley needed on our bus (Many Nationalities)

Overall we were pleased with the trip and would recommended it.

The tour was great! We have the chance to see the Niagara Falls that close in the middle of the cold and freezing weather. Sharon and Bruno were very good tourist guide. Bruno was really suprising that he knew different languages. All in all it was an amazing tour!

Well paced, ample breaks given for the long bus ride. Great guide from Stefano on some of the history/facts of the places that we visit. A pity that the boat ride is closed for the winter otherwise, I think it’s good if you want to visit Niagara Falls and some shopping (the time is real short though, would be ideal if it could be a big more longer) The hotel wasn’t fantastic though but for a night stay, it’s bearable i’d say.

Me and my partner have a wonderful and enjoyable trip. Our tour guide Mr. Stefanos and our driver Mr. Mario is very friendly and helpful. Stefanos is very informative, sincere and awesome. The stay in Canada is pretty decent and the hotel is clean but don't expect too much from breakfast. I will definitely recommend this trip to my friends and family.
