This moonlight tour was fantastic! Our guide was Dennis, a History and Literature high school teacher, so he did a great job of giving us the history of Verona! It was just my husband and I so we had his undivided attention. We walked all around Historic Verona and ended at the Arena, an architectural marvel. Although scheduled for 1 hour and 10 minutes, Dennis spent almost 2 hours with us. We would highly recommend this tour!!

Directions for meeting point easy to find and guide arrived on time. Only 4 in our group so we got great insite.
Maria Pia was so passionate and informative about Verona you could not be anything but impressed and educated on its history, bot the big facts and more importantly the smaller/hidden stories.

I would greatly recommend this tour, 1.5 hours or knowledge.

    Thanks Maria.

Maria did an amazing job on this tour. There were only two of us in the group my wife and me, but Maria gave us the full tour and then some. Highly recommended.

What a unique way to experience this city that sees far too little tourism for all of the hidden gems it provides. We took an evening tour of Verona because we got in a little late and thought this may be the best way to see the city while there for such a short time and man, was I right! This city is absolutely amazing and the knowledgeable guide made the experiences even better. She provided us dramatic interpretations of the broken hearted tales which live on and on in this city and for free, even took us to the Jewish Ghetto and told us the amazing story of Verona's heroism during WWII. It is a tale made for a George Clooney movie, so make sure you ask about it! This tour was exactly what we were looking for and cannot recommend enough.

Wow, Girolami Maria Pia is an amazing guide. She gave out more info in the 90 minutes than I thought possible. She is very sweet and entertaining and I would love to go on another tour with her in the future.

This was amazing ! We were the only ones on the tour so we learnt quite a lot about the history of Verona , it was a beautiful night and even though it went for a few hours you wouldn't know it from how knowledgble the guide was and how passionate she was about the city. We loved it!!

This was a wonderfully intimate tour of Verona at night. Maria was a fun, knowledgeable tour guide and I would highly recommend her to anyone. She was very accommodating and personable. It was one of the best parts of our European adventure.

My recent tour of Moonlighted Verona : Evening walking tour was superb!

My tour guide Mauro brought the city to life in a way I have never seen another guide do before. His knowledge of the city astounded me and his friendly manner put me at ease. He went out of his way to show me show me the hidden treasures Verona had to offer. If it were possible I would have happily had Mauro show me around all weekend. He was the best tour guide I have ever encountered.

The tour itself encompassed all the major attractions of Verona. The fact the tour is at night avoids large crowds around and high temperatures, which I thought made this a more enjoyable experience. As well as this the monuments lit up at night adds to how majestic they are.

This was quite frankly the best tour I have ever been on and I would recommend it to anyone.

Our incredibly knowledgeable guide Mauro was the strength of this tour and we enjoyed little details about the city that you otherwise miss in a standard city tour. We unfortunately got caught in a rain storm which slightly changed the direction of our evening but Mauro didn't miss a beat and was able to facilitate the opportunity for some terrific lightning photos! I don't think I've ever enjoyed a tour more and cannot recommend Mauro highly enough for his dynamic, informative and entertaining historical presentation.

This tour was by far the best tour we have ever been on. We travel often and always book tours to learn the history of the area and we have never had a tour guide as good as Girolami Maria Pia. The only regret we had was not having Girolami take us around the city on more tours! She was able to tell us so much of Verona's rich history. We were able to soak up so much information because of how she told the stories of the past. My husband and I remember sitting through classes where we learned some of the history of this area and were quite bored...Girolami told the stories in such a way that we were literally leaning in to hear more. If it wasn't for our short stay, we would have contacted Girolami to give us as many tours as she offered! There were so many times that we were walking through Verona or another part of Italy saying we wish she would travel with us and teach us the history of the places we were visiting. I will always cherish my time in Verona and I think much of that is because of our tour with Girolami. She is an amazing tour guide and makes the city/history of Verona come alive.
